If you would like to read in the Keep Open Mic, come and sign up between 7.00 and 7.30 for one of the 12 five-minute open mic spots. Or just come and listen, over a designer gin or a glass of wine.
When we begin hosting events again – free entry but you might like to bring some cash for buying books and SuperRaffle tickets!

Tuesday March 3rd: Cranleigh Arts Festival Poetry Open Mic offers great events all of the first week of March – https://www.cranleighartscentre.org.
Our free Poetry Open Mic to open Cranleigh Arts Festival on Tuesday March 3rd was a brilliant evening and Mark Barnes, Chris Ross, Isabel Morris, Trisha Broomfield, Dónall Dempsey and Heather Moulson and six open mic readers entertained an enthusiastic audience of all ages. As always, our favourite sound and lights man, Paul, served drinks and good cheer all evening. |

(10 minutes on foot) DRIVING? There is an underground car park right next door to the Keep Pub and 50 yards away is the Castle Car Park (both cost £1 for the evening after 6pm) or, in the evenings, there's often space to park free on the High Street, nearby. |

Write Out Loud's open mic event is hosted in the Lightbox Café , Woking, by Greg Freeman and Rodney Wood, on the third Thursday of each month. (Free, with voluntary contribution to the Lightbox)
Isabel Morris hosts "Dorking is Talking" at the Viva Restaurant, 55 West Street, Dorking, on the second Thursday of each month (£15, including food).
Cranleigh Arts Centre, 1 High Street, Cranleigh, GU6 8AS – Free open Mic events with featured poets, hosted by Dónall Dempsey and the 1000 Monkeys in March, June and October. Informal friendly events with a bar.
