We were invited to take part in the literary festival at Cranleigh Arts Centre on 1st March. We decided to get to know the Cranleigh Writers' Group and Dónall, Eddie Chauncy, Karen izod and I gave a joint reading in the auditorium with three of their poets, Colin Ward, Richard Sellwood and Trish Broomfield, in the auditorium before a screening of "Under Milkweed" starring Charlotte Jones and Ifan Evens. Our readings were very successful, if rather brief and we were delighted to meet the Cranleigh writers.
We also went to see two plays by Tony Earnshaw, "The Door" and "The Speech", both thought-provoking and enjoyable, and Claire Pollard's excellent new poetry show, "Ovid's Heroines".
Here are videos of Dónall and my contributions to our presentation.
